A gorgeous timelapse movie of the Alps, synched perfectly to Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. Simply perfect to fall asleep to on this cold night.

Jackpot!!! I love Efterklang (clearly), but have now found a Take-Away Show that they did in partnership with La Blogotheque. See this performance of the song Mirador, after which I named my blog. Any song that starts with “I could set the house on fire…” gets an A+ grade in my book.
Coming this week: a movie review, a big update, and a new short story.

Amazing band. How can I not have heard of them before? In lieu of actual content (has my blog just become my own personal Youtube site?), I present you a live version of ‘Wake Up’ by Arcade Fire.

Everything really does sound better auto-tuned. The Gregory Brothers, a soul and alt band from Brooklyn, have started releasing auto-tuned musicals of CNN, Fox, and national news figures. Katie Couric seems to be their favorite. Watch on!
